Life is Good at Machan....

The occasion was named 'Life is Good' and the participants included all the frustrated guys of my team. Just by naming Life is good, i think we were trying to find out reasons to celebrate...although there was none to be honest (time and again my sisters marriage, held almost 2 months back,was also poping up as one of the reason).

The king of the gang, Mr AB took charge as usual and invited all the concerned parties. Nandy, KS ,Raju and Raka - the Rock agreed immediately but it took some emotional (yaari-dosti) stuff for RC's approval (Married guys actually attract more disease that a single guy can ever think off). Since there was no work at all in office and Mr AB has just finished implementation last Sunday, we all were waiting for clock to tick 5:30. In between we had several rounds of SwissBall and Carrom, just to keep us busy. I think we are having more fun at work then the Fun committe itself :).

Finally, it was five thirty and all the oldies started their way back home. We all were raring to go as well. Again to keep with the tradition, we had change of plan at the last moment and now instead of Pind Balluchi(suggested by me or was it AB), we zeroed in for Machan(reason --> Cheap drinks, Cheap drinks, Cheap drinks).

Machan @ Gurgaon, seems to be a nice place at the first glance but the icing on the cake was the Big Screen playing IPL match, MI Vs KXII. MI were bowling. Bad luck but still we can have our drinks. AB-Raklia ordered Teachers Half, Raju-Me went for Beer and others sane ppl had Juice, Limca. With each sip, our fascination for Sachin keeps on growing like anything. For us it was 11 sachin playing for MI. Sachin was bowling and keeping as well. LOL. We cheered each wicket as if we have share in MI team.
Teachers half was repeated for AB-Raka and Raju this time. I too had one peg from it. KXII innings was over and they was bundled out for 119. We all shouted in unison that MI have this match in pocket. Relieved, we had our main course and prepared to leave. The food was not something to write about but yes, cheap drinks, ambiance and company made up for it no doubt.
Mr AB and Raka were in seventh heaven now, enjoying the moment to the max. It was time to leave and we all left for home.
Drive from Gurgaon to Noida was nice but as soon as I reached home, I was confused to see MI scorecard. Fools lost an easy game.
But nonetheless, Life was Good @ Machan.....
